Karly Jade Catto grew up with an inherent love for stories and people. Because of this she had an insatiable desire to read, listen to her Grandma's stories, and watch animated movies. With every book/movie/story she devoured, her mind filled with vivid images and whimsical portraits of the characters she loved. To her, they were real. To her, they needed to be made real to other people. So she drew.  Many years later, she went to school and -- to cut a long story short -- eventually decided that she loved designing characters and telling stories with images.  Karly studied Illustration at Brigham Young University and currently resides in Northern Utah with her family. She has done freelance work for various magazines, game studios, and publishers.  In her spare time she fancies listening to audiobooks, eating snack foods, hiking, playing the guitar, and making silly faces in the mirror with her siblings. But not all those things at once because that would be impossible -- or, at the very least, excessive.
