LISA K. WEBER
Lisa K. Weber has been making art professionally for comics, kid's books, and cartoons since 2000, after earning a BFA in Illustration at Parsons School of Design in New York. Her work has included graphic novel adaptations of classic literature, book covers for young and middle grade readers, textiles for children’s clothing, and character and storyboard design for animations. Selected clients include Scholastic Inc., Cricket Magazine, Penguin Random House, Houghton-Mifflin Harcourt, Oxford University Press, Black Dog & Leventhal, Stone Arch Books, Graphic Classics, Curious Pictures, PBS Kids, MTV Animation, and Sirius Thinking. In 2014, Lisa began co-creating and illustrating the independent comic, HEX11, earning a nomination for the first ever Dwayne McDuffie Award for Diversity. Born in New Haven, raised in Chicago, and educated in New York City, Lisa currently lives and works in Los Angeles, California.
