FELIPE CALV
Born in Ceará, a coastal city in northeastern Brazil, Felipe was introduced to art early on through his parents. He grew a love for comics, cartoons, games and music. He graduated in architecture and soon after decided to dive headfirst into building a career as an artist. His work is mostly digital, but he always has a pen and paper on hand.
He loves vibrant illustrations, full of details and fantasy. His characters are charismatic and cute that feed the reader's playfulness. Currently working as a full-time freelancer, he has done work for publishers, magazines and studios around the world illustrating books and creating characters for all kinds of stories.
Felipe continues to learn and challenge himself. He is building his path as a person and artist seeking his inspirations and trying to inspire others through his work. He lives with his wife Steffani and his dog Pantufa, his biggest inspirations. When he's not making art, Felipe enjoys listening to rock music, hanging out with friends and loves watching sports like soccer and basketball.
