Liam Peters is an illustrator originally from Brisbane, Australia. After graduating high school, he enrolled in QANTM College/TAFE and studied Multimedia and 3D animation – it was there he discovered digital art and his love of the Wacom tablet. Upon finishing his studies, he was left with a hefty student loan to pay off so he entered into the underground mining industry in Australia, thinking it would only be temporary. Five years later he was debt-free but still stuck in the depths of Queensland’s boiling underground. Anxious to finally do what he always wanted and intended, he moved to the United States at the end of 2008 and began work as a freelance artist. Liam is always trying to push originality in his paintings; he loves the challenge of creating different costume designs and subtle twists in his work.
Liam is currently self-employed doing freelance digital illustration from his home just outside of Dallas, Texas. Past projects include: book cover illustrations, t-shirt illustrations, collectible card game and computer game illustrations, and private commissions. All of his work is painted in Adobe Photoshop CS3.
