Matt Griffin is an award-winning Irish illustrator based in Ennis, Co.Clare. Taking his inspiration from film, music, comic books and the wild Atlantic coast, he has garnered an international reputation as an innovative and distinctive visual artist. His work in the fields of poster-art, editorial illustration and publishing has received accolades from The Society of Illustrators, 3x3 Magazine and Creative Quarterly, and has been featured on io9.com, Tor.com, Geek-Art.net, and Slashfilm.com among others. He is also an author, with his debut novel 'A Cage of Roots' (The O'Brien Press) released in March 2015.
