PATRICK FARICY
Patrick Faricy is a Graduate of Art Center College of Design in Pasadena California and has been creating images professionally for over twenty years. From books and magazine covers to Harry Potter trading cards, Patrick finds great enjoyment in each project and is still amazed he has turned his childhood hobby into a full time career.
Clients include Coca Cola, Target, 3M, GMC, BBC, Discover Card, Master Card, Visa, NatWest, Dow, Schick, Pillsbury, Kellogg, General Mills, Kemps, Boston Market, Busch Gardens, Disney, Mattel, Galoob Toys, Continental Airlines, Consumer Reports, The Weekly Standard, Reader’s Digest, Boys Life, Harper Collins, Simon and Schuster, Tor, Pleasant Company, Houghton Mifflin, The Village Voice, USA Today, Paragon Cable, Jack Magazine, Men’s Health, Blender, Stuff, Sega, Adaptec, ADA, History Channel, QVC, Anderson Windows, Fingerhut, BYU, CNA Insurance, U.S. Golf Association and BBDO and Ogilvy and Mather.
Patrick has been recognized for his work repeatedly by industry peers. He has received awards from the Society of Illustrators New York, The Junior Library Guild, An Image Award nomination from the NAACP, Awards of Excellence from Communication Arts (Illustration Annuals 40 and 43). In 2010, Patrick received Gold and Silver Awards in the Book category from the Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles’ annual competition. And most recently, in 2011, he won the Silver Award in the Book category and the Joseph Morgan Henninger – Best In Show award, from the Society of Illustrators of Los Angeles.
When not working, Patrick spends time with his 2 children Charlotte and Christopher who continue to inspire and bring him great joy. Every once and a while, he gets to indulge in his other passion: writing, playing and recording music.
