PER HAAGENSEN

Per Haagensen is a Norwegian-born illustrator and concept artist currently residing in Stockholm, Sweden. Per started out dabbling in 3D animation and music, but ultimately focused on digital painting. He received a BA in illustration from the British University. Per focuses his skills on digital sculpting, 3D rendering, and painting. He has worked with a number of clients throughout his career. Such as, Norwegian game developer, Funcom, as a concept artist on games such as Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures, and the expansion of Rise of the Godslayer. As well as, Warner Brothers and DC Comics, creating the main licensing art for their films Green Lantern and The Dark Knight Rises.

He continues as a Senior Concept Artist for Swedish game developer, DICE, expanding his portfolio working on critically acclaimed franchises like Battlefield, Star Wars Battlefront, and Mirror’s Edge. Per has been recognized for his mixed media use of 3D sculpting and painting, online and in magazine interviews. Most recently, he participated in a panel discussion at the National Art Gallery in Stockholm, discussing his processes and techniques.He has produced art for clients like Warner Bros. Consumer Products, DC Comics, Blizzard Entertainment, Electronic Arts, St. Martins Press, Macmillan and more.
